By depicting disappearing creatures on the enduring medium of ceramics, the work cherishes their existence—recording and remembering them as an act of artistic reflection that bridges tradition, ecology, and art.
Each life form, rendered through contemporary sensibilities and ceramic painting techniques rooted in traditional Korean art, transcends time to pose questions to all living beings in the “here and now,” symbolically expressing a uniquely Korean identity.
