Description
Woodturning is a technique in which a wood object is shaped by rotating the material on a lathe and carving it as it turns. After the form was completed, the vessel was intentionally turned as thin as possible so that natural deformation could occur during the drying process.
For the finish, an oil mixed with pigments was applied to highlight the inherent grain and character of the oak.
Caution
Please avoid placing the wood object in areas with high humidity, as it is made from natural solid wood. For maintenance, gently wipe the surface with a dry cotton cloth or kitchen towel.
Because wood naturally expands and contracts according to its surrounding environment, fine cracks or slight warping may occur over time. These are natural characteristics of solid wood.
This is a 100% handmade piece, and minor scratches or marks may be present.
As the work has been crafted with thin walls, please handle it with care and avoid impact or exposure to heat.
