[Garden Box]
If the Hill Box captures memories from outside the old countryside home, the Courtyard Box records the memories held within it.
In the central courtyard where three traditional hanok houses meet, families made meju, tended the fire in the kitchen hearth, and children played together.
These radiant moments are expressed through finely carved fragments that come together to form the “courtyard.”
The series is presented in four versions: Black, Walnut, Maple, and Black Persimmon.
